YouTube: What The Labels Don’t Tell You – 16th July

This workshop will give managers an insider look at how YouTube works with their licensing partners, predominantly record labels. We’ll review the YouTube industry (it is an industry!) with an emphasis of how the business works, what YouTube monetization really means and give managers the knowledge they need to ensure they’re getting everything out of YouTube that their artists should be getting.

•        Layout of the publishing/collection society ecosystem regarding digital royalty collection

•        Why you’re not getting your publishing royalties from YouTube, and what to do about it
