Scottish Affairs Committee ‘Creative Industries’ report supports Music Tax Reliefs

27 January 2016

The Scottish Affairs Select Committee published its report into the creative industries in Scotland last week.

The report supports the introduction of music tax reliefs and requires a new assessment of the creative industries in Scotland.

The assessment, which is due to be carried out by December this year, will deal with discrepancies between how the Scottish and UK governments measure and classify the creative industries.
