MMF Updates Complaints and Disputes Process – September 2026
As part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining high professional standards across the music management community, the MMF has reviewed and updated its Complaints and Disputes Process. The revised procedure was approved by the MMF Board and comes into effect from September 2026.
The review was undertaken to ensure the process remains clear, transparent, fair and accessible for everyone involved, while reflecting current best practice in membership organisation governance.
Importantly, the MMF Code of Practice itself has not changed. The standards and principles expected of MMF members remain the same. This update focuses on the process for handling complaints and disputes, providing greater clarity around how concerns can be raised, how they will be considered, and the steps available to all parties throughout the process, including the right to appeal a decision.
We encourage all members to familiarise themselves with the updated process.
