A weekly summary of events and resources for music managers.

 

On Wednesday we hosted an informative session with TikTok followed by a manager social! It was great to see so many familiar faces, and we hope you all took away some important tips from the TikTok team.

 

We were also at the UK Music Summer Party on Tuesday, with speeches from UK Music Chief Executive Tom Kiehl, UK Music Chair Tom Watson, Culture Minister Chris Bryant and songwriter Michelle Escoffery-Ojo.

 

With a new government and lots of new MPs in Parliament, the Council of Music Makers has just published ‘Unfinished Business‘, summarising recent music-maker led campaigns, what has been achieved so far, and what we need from the new ministers and MPs to deliver tangible change.
