MMF Code of Practice and Framework for Training and Education 2013

31 January 2013

We are today publishing our MMF Code of Practice and Framework for Education and Training. Both documents have been long in the making and reflect a need for standards that a manager aspires to and competencies that we expect a manager, and those educating managers, to attain.

The document sets a framework for the principles that should guide a music manager, an outline of a manager’s role, as well as the duty of care owed to their clients and the competencies required from the role.

These documents are not set in stone and will constantly evolve as do managers and the artists they work with. Members of the MMF should read and digest and aspire to the standards within.

Please contact us to discuss any matters contained in them or arising after.
