BitTorrent partner with LINKIN PARK and Open Labs
A little while ago we invited BitTorrent to meet MMF members in London to discuss how they’re working with artists, managers and the wider creative community to help them reach more fans.
Recent months have seen BitTorrent partner with Public Enemy, The Pixies, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah and 4 Hour Work Week author Timothy Ferriss. And now the latest in a series of intriguing and innovative projects comes in the form of a collaboration with LINKIN PARK and music software company Open Labs, with a free BitTorrent Bundle offering that aims to give aspiring musicians the tools they need to develop as an artist.
From a post on BitTorrent Blog:
“The tools to grow your audience are easily accessible. The tools to grow as an artist — from mentorship to equipment — aren’t. Music software is complicated and expensive. If you want to start building a sound, it’s going to cost you.
We think that emerging artists should have more, and more accessible options. So we’re partnering with LINKIN PARK and Open Labs to give the Internet’s musicians tools to make amazing. In this BitTorrent Bundle, sample Open Labs’ StageLight music software, gratis. Then, enter your email to unlock more ways to build your sound: the StageLight: LINKIN PARK Edition, featuring patches from the band’s library, plus nine tutorials, an interview with Mike Shinoda, and an exclusive 10% discount on SoundSlate Pro equipment.”
