On 13th April 2021 at 1800 BSTMMF Unite, the world’s largest professional community of music managers in partnership with The Zoo XYZ will jointly host a discussion exploring Black Music & Joint Ventures. Here we dive into the business side of the music industry and discuss glass ceilings and shattering them.

Hosted by Whitney Asomani of Twenty:Two, the panel of industry experts includes; Avelino of SYNC Music GlobalEve Fairley-Chickwe of AWAL and Lunick of Dreamlife Records.

The panellists will talk through their experiences from the necessity of developing independently to joint ventures with major labels and organisations. They will take you on a journey of adaptation, tackling the gatekeepers within the music industry and collaboration with such entities while maintaining the authenticity of the music and culture.
