SkyArts Futures Fund & MTV Brand New Unsigned

Just to let you know about two new initiatives for artists that have recently opened their application processes:

SkyArts Futures Fund

SkyArts are offering five young artists £30,000 each to fund their work for a full year as part of the Sky Arts Futures Fund – in association with IdeasTap.

The fund is designed to develop artists’ creative practice and help them take their work to the next level. Successful applicants will be paired with a mentor from Sky and get support you through Sky’s platforms.

MTV Brand New Unsigned

MTV’s  Brand New Unsigned aims to uncover the best unsigned music talent in the UK, with the winner getting a chance to appear on MTV, perform live in London and win a spot on the MTV Brand New for 2014 shortlist.
