Horizons at WOMEX13

10 April 2013

Horizons is a new partnership between a number of arts organisations, including the Arts Council, Creative Scotland and Welsh Music Foundation, formed ahead of WOMEX13 to help introduce UK music to international delegates and help UK delegates make the most of their trip to WOMEX13.

The partnership has secured a discount for delegates from England, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales to attend WOMEX13 for 205 Euros (plus VAT) until September 27th 2013 and Horizons partners are also offering packages of support to artists and delegates.

The Horizons England package for delegates based in England will include the following:

  • Priority use of the stand as a meeting and networking point and facilities to distribute promotional material
  • An online profile helping delegates connect
  • An online toolkit and help desk – with news items, support and advice to delegates and artists enabling them to make the most of their trip to WOMEX
  • A regular newsletter with updates on the event
  • A limited number of bursaries of £100 to companies attending for the first time including a WOMEX orientation session

How to register:

1. Submit your details using this form: horizonsatwomex.com/delegates/delegate-register/

2. After your details have been checked you will receive your discount code (usually within 48 hours), which you then use to register directly onto the WOMEX site.
