Artist & Manager Award Spotify Grant winners Pale Seas sign Publishing Deal

26 February 2013

Independent music publisher Touch Tones have signed a worldwide publishing deal with hotly tipped newcomers Pale Seas.

The bands debut album, produced by Paul Butler of the Bees, is set for release later this year, after 2012 saw the band taking huge strides. With singles Something Or Nothing produced by the esteemed duo Jimmy Robertson and Demian Castellanos (Florence & The Machine, Anna Calvi, The Big Pink), and My Own Mind / Bodies (released on the Communion label), Pale Seas garnered media plaudits and a Radio 1 Introducing playlist. While the band completed their first national tours as support to the likes of Mystery Jets, Beach Fossils, The War On Drugs and Stealing Sheep.

After winning the Spotify Grant at our Artist and Manager Awards last year, the band used the grant money to fund their debut album.

Pale Seas are touring in March, supporting Stornoway.
