MMF Board Election 2025: Meet The Candidates
Nominations have now closed for the MMF board election 2025. This year we have four amazing managers nominated and as there are four seats available they are uncontested and will be appointed via an approval vote at the upcoming Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 16th September 2025.

Jill Hollywood
Echo Beach Management
Roster: Jacknife Lee, Ash Howes, Cam Blackwood, Johan Hugo, Tim Bran, Davide Rossi, Roy Kerr, Charlie Russell, Dave Bascome, Chris Zane, Ben Jackson Cook
Background: I have been a board member of the MMF since 2019, vice chair since September 2024 and managed song writers and producers for over twenty years. I have been privileged to manage some of the most successful writer producers of recent years and to have worked with some of the biggest names in UK and international pop music.
Managers operate in difficult times. The economics of streaming have pushed the creators to the limits of survival. Much work needs to be done to advocate the re-slicing of the streaming pie. Not just for artists, but for song writers and producers. As a manager for both of the latter, I take the responsibility of advocating for their rights amongst not just the artist community, but the major rights holders who seem to have tipped the scales in their favour to a worrying degree. As we enter the age of AI, we must push back against the tech companies training platforms for free and at their liberty and fight hard for transparency and remuneration.
Over these years I have seen the incredible work the MMF does in advocacy, education and building community. I have been closely involved with the Accelerator program and mentoring the brilliant young managers coming through it. In my capacity of vice chair I am working with the MPG to look closely at producer deals in the age where most emerging talents are self releasing and how we will need to adapt production deals to suit the way records are made with smaller advances and decreasing master / songwriter royalties.
There is so much work to be done in creating a fairer environment for music creators and I’m galvanised to work alongside a brilliant MMF board for another three years to achieve that.
Hidehiko Whone
Theory Management
Roster: Biig Piig, Bad Sounds, Justin Peng, Lemonsuckr, KAWALA
Background: I’ve sat on the board for a year in a temporary position, and found the work incredibly powerful – implementing positive change and better protection for managers in a difficult climate. I wish to nominate myself again for the full 3 year position, to continue to advocate for managers and their artists. It’s a difficult time for managers, who in my opinion are the most valuable member in an artist career, with deals that haven’t changed and adapted with the times, whilst the expectation and workload increases, and rising costs and a oversaturated market, means profit margins are being squeezed. We need to continue to campaign to better protect artists, and managers alike. Coming from a mixed heritage background, being half Japanese and a member of ESEA Music community, I want to help bring better representation in the industry also.
Sarah Abbott
Wildlife Entertainment Limited
Roster: Arctic Monkeys, Fontaines D.C, Wunderhorse, Royal Blood, Kae Tempest, Miles Kane, The Last Shadow Puppets
Background: I am the Finance Director at Wildlife, where I have worked for the last 12 years. With over 16 years of experience in the music industry, I have had the privilege of working across various genres. My expertise lies in budgeting, accounting, and the mechanics of live touring, royalties, and contracts.
At Wildlife, my role extends beyond managing our roster’s prosperity. As a director, alongside Ian Andrew and Emma Greengrass, I also oversee Wildlife as a business. I have navigated the vastly changing landscapes of the industry, helping artists and managers adapt and thrive. I am deeply passionate about ensuring the wellbeing of our managers and artists, working collaboratively to achieve both their business and personal goals. I take pride in translating the numbers into a language that artists can understand, empowering them with a better grasp of their business and earnings.
Throughout my tenure at Wildlife, I have enjoyed working with artists at various levels of success and growth and tackling the challenges that come with it. I have represented artists from small venues to stadiums, from major labels to indie and no label status, ensuring accurate publishing rights and extensively researching neighbouring rights. A highlight for me was in 2023 when our management company oversaw over 300 live shows across our artist roster in a single year, including headlining Glastonbury and 3 nights at the Emirates Stadium London.
My current interests stand in better creating opportunities for diversifying the touring crews for my artists and I would like to extend this across the industry.
I am eager to stand for the MMF board to contribute to the evolving environment of our industry. I believe I can bring expertise that is currently unrepresented on the board and look forward to connecting with the broader management community.
Elise Brown
Revere Arts
Roster: Bishi, Jonny Abraham, Davóne Tines, Anthony Davis, Etienne Charles
Background: An artist manager in the classical musical industry, I have 20 years of experience in management, spanning a 25 year career in the arts, music and entertainment businesses. I currently manage artists from Pulitzer Prize winner Anthony Davis, Jazz Trumpeter Etienne Charles to Bishi and Jonny Abraham to name a few. I want to join the MMF Board not just because of my broad music experience but also my board level experience which has seen me drive change in my immediate and wider community. As well as spearheading my own voluntary initiatives, I’m a trustee for Carnival Village Trust (Nottinghill Carnival), a Board Director of Leeds Conservatoire, a Non-Exec Director of the Award winning Come Play with Me and the founder and Chair of Mama Haven, a charity I created to address socio economic barriers amongst women.
