Now Booking: The Long Road- Live & Touring Day

19 December 2016

The Long Road: Live & Touring is a one day course run by the Music Managers Forum in partnership with Music Tank. Presented by Erik Nielsen and Andy Inglis, the course will cover subjects such as how to get gigs, direct-to-fan ticketing, booking agents and promoters, how to budget and – perhaps! – make a profit, and international touring. Erik will also be discussing merchandise – what to produce, how to make it, and how to sell it.

Andy will be taking over for the rest of the afternoon, and will be presenting “A Day in the Life” of a tour. From who does what, to looking after yourself – physically and mentally – whilst on tour, Andy will divulge what it’s really like to be on the road, how to keep the band happy, and the importance of planning and accounting.

The day will be finished off with a Q&A session with both Erik and Andy.

Tickets cost £120 (inc.VAT) but MMF members can claim a 50% discount, whilst other trade body members can claim 25%. Email phoebe@themmf.net to get your discount code!

The course runs on Tuesday 10th January from 10am-5pm, at the University of Westminster, 309 Regent Street, Marylebone, London, W1B 2UW.
