Submit your entries for the AIM Independent Music Awards 2016

The 2016 AIM Awards will take place on 6th September in London, rewarding the great and good of the independent sector. Celebrating labels and artists of every size and genre, the awards is the key night in the independent sector’s calendar.

Aim logo 2016Previous winners have included FKA Twigs, Enter Shikari, Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip, Wolf Alice, Richie Hawtin, Ghetts, Adele, Twin Atlantic, Wiley, Swans, Flying Lotus, All Time Low, Skepta, Jungle, London Grammar, Billy Bragg, Liars, Young Fathers and many others.  Label winners have included Transgressive Records, Alcopop Records, Earache Records, Warp Records, Ninja Tune, Hyperdub, Beggars Group, Stolen Recordings, Domino and more.

AIM is now taking entries for 2016, for categories including:

  • Best Small label
  • Best ‘Difficult’ Second Album
  • Special Catalogue Release of the Year
  • Hardest Working Band or Artist
  • Golden Welly Award for Best Independent Festival
  • Independent Breakthrough of the Year
  • Independent Video of the Year
  • Indie Champion Award 
  • Best Live Act
  • Independent Track of the Year
  • Independent Album of the Year
