Virtual Manager Meetup: Wednesday 7th July, 11am
The MMF and Serenade, the eco-friendly marketplace for limited-edition digital music collectibles (NFTs), are hosting a virtual round table discussion ‘Digital Collectibles: how NFT technology can create an accessible and exponential new revenue opportunity for artists of all sizes’, at 11am on Wednesday, July 7.
A panel of music industry experts, including Max Shand (Founder, Serenade), Simon Wheeler (Global Director of Commercial Strategy, Beggars), Mike Smith (Global President, Downtown Music Publishing) and James Sandom (Red Light Management) will dissect and explain the new wave of music NFTs, with a focus on how to demystify and democratise the space for both artists and fans. They will tackle such questions as “How can they be eco-friendly?”, “Is this a power shift in favour of artists and their managers?”, “What does this new revenue stream mean for artists, managers, and fans that invest?”, “What is the ever-changing role of D2C and artist/fan relationships?”, “What’s next, the evolving landscape and what the future holds for this technology in the music industry” and more.
Serenade is the brainchild of Australian tech entrepreneur and passionate music fan Max Stand, whose mission is to enable artists to build closer relationships with fans while creating dynamic new revenue streams for artists of all sizes. With this aim in mind, Serenade was created, a user-friendly NFT marketplace dedicated to music-related limited edition digital music collectibles where music fans can buy, sell, collect and showcase digital merchandise and collectibles in an eco-friendly format using their credit or debit card and deposit account.
