Music Publishing Module 5 – Guest Speakers Confirmed

10 May 2013

Music Publishing & The Record Business; Grand Rights & Live Performance, the next module of the Music Publishing Professional Development Programme, takes place in the PRS for Music Boardroom on the evening (6.30-9.30pm) of Monday 20th May 2013. Places are strictly limited – to book yours now contact angela@mmf-training.com.

The panel discussion covers and updates us on a whole range of practical issues regarding relationships between those working in and representing the recording and music publishing sectors in today’s music industry – at all levels: from deciding which compositions a recording artist may record, through media & collective licensing to joint initiatives on a global basis.

We examine communications between professional team members and departments (from music publishers, record companies and artist managers) working together to develop the careers of songwriters, composers & recording artists; plus relations between individual record companies & music publishers (both major and independent) and co-operation between the sectors to meet thechallenges and opportunities presented by digital technology and communications in 2013 and beyond.

Our expert guest speakers will also discuss relationships between and issues specific to Music Publishing, Grand Rights and Live Performance.
