We’re hiring: Member Engagement Assistant

The MMF is hiring for a part-time paid role for the period of 6-months to support engagement with our growing membership.

To be an eligible applicant, you need to be aged 16-24, currently out of work and claiming universal credit. You will need to apply by giving the company name [Music Managers Forum] and job title [Member Engagement Assistant] to your work coach at the JobCentre Plus.

The JobCentre Plus will be able to provide information on wage and estimated start date.

Role core responsibilities

Responsible for connecting with and engaging the MMF’s growing membership, to find out individual needs and areas to improve on in order further further music manager development
Assist with co-ordinating the MMF’s member mentorship programmes
Work to support Membership Secretary in responding to member support enquiries – incorporating research and finding information from within MMF Team and members
Work with members to support development to innovate and create new opportunities for their clients through collaboration with the MMF’s Associate members
Help enhance the MMF Membership package by proposing new ways for to the MMF to provide value to members
Liaise with MMF Membership Secretary on company membership renewals
Activate member attraction and retention

Requirements

Previous experience working with music artists or the music industry in some capacity
You’ll be an enthusiastic self-starter with a diligent work ethic
Passionate about the music industry, technology and innovation
Exceptional organisation skills with meticulous attention to detail
Ability to prioritise, multi-task and work under tight deadlines
Strong knowledge of current and developing music industry trends and platforms
A strong desire to work in music management

A degree or further education qualifications is not essential.

The position is likely to based in our office, although we are open to discussing remote-working with candidates.
