This fourth session is one of six focusing on specific areas related to Artist Management that form the Professional Development Programme for 2012. All modules are stand alone, but collectively the Programme provides a wide-ranging analysis of all the issues, challenges and practical opportunities facing those involved or interested in artist management services today.

BACKGROUND:

We are delighted to announce the guest speakers for the upcoming Artist & Brand Partnerships; Licensing, Endorsements and Merchandising module

Joining our panel we now also have Bob Workman (VP Brand Partnerships, EMI Music – recent artist/brand partnerships include projects with Professor Green and Tinie Tempah) plus Marc Connor (AirMTM – management clients include Jamie Cullum, Jason Mraz, Ben Cullum and I Am Kloot).

Whether you work with international superstars and/or development artists, there are an increasingly wide range of opportunities to be explored & challenges to be addressed when developing both the “brand” of your Artists; successful partnerships with other Brands; and working as part of a professional team to help achieve specific career and project objectives. So what are these opportunities, and how can we avoid predictable pitfalls? What exactly do we need to know and understand about this expanding area of activity – especially in these challenging economic times?

All these questions and more will be answered on the night.
