MPA/BPI Trade Mission to Germany to coincide with Reeperbahn

15 July 2014

After years of successful international missions, BPI and the MPA, in conjunction with UK Trade & Investment, Germany, are hosting a music industry trade mission to Hamburg on 17 September, with a networking event on 18 September.

The programme will be packed with panels and presentations, with speakers from all walks of the industry including labels, publishers, distribution (physical and digital), licensing, retail, live, marketing. An exclusive networking party will also be held in honour of our delegates, hosted in conjunction with Diageo, in whose offices the event will take place.

The mission fee – £130 + VAT for BPI or MPA members or £165 + VAT for non members – will also include a ticket to the Reeperbahn Festival and the price of the mission is less than the cost of booking a ticket for Reeperbahn alone. This mission offers a great opportunity for UK delegates to grow their knowledge of the German music market and learn more about how their companies can succeed in Germany. It will give delegates the chance to meet and network with German music executives and possibly also to gain a clearer and more detailed understanding of German music itself, for possible exploitation in the UK.

To register for the mission download the application form from the MPA website here.

Deadline 31st July.
