MMF welcome PSL/Silverbox Studios as a new Associate Member.

Silverbox Studios is an arena-sized, acoustically treated blacked out sound stages for pre-production, rehearsals, filming & streaming in the south of England.

A message from PSL to MMF Members:

Silverbox Studios in Newbury offers carbon-neutral powered, flexible, accessible and private studios in the south of England for pre-production, rehearsals, filming & streaming. Our spaces are available for dry-hire, or we can support artists with a wide range of sound, light, effects, rigging, LED wall and mesh, cameras and streaming equipment directly from our comprehensive on-site warehouse.

Silverbox is also able to provide a range of experienced engineering staff from riggers to audio engineers, camera crew and lighting designers. With ample private parking, carbon neutral 400A 3 phase supplies to every studio and full-height HGV access across flat polished concrete floors directly to our stages your load in/out is really easy – and on the M4/A34.

We’d love to talk to you about pre-tour prep, rehearsals, streaming and content making and any kit requirements from PSL on site with Managers and Tour Managers.

This week in Parliament, Minister Chris Bryant announced the UK Government’s endorsement of the BPI’s new streaming code—a set of voluntary commitments made solely by the major record labels. It marks the culmination of a process that began with Parliament’s Culture Committee’s 2021 inquiry, which heard from a wide range of voices across the music industry—artists, songwriters, producers and managers—about the deep structural inequalities in streaming.
