Where are you based?
Weston Super Mare

How long have you worked in Management?
Around 10 years

Who do you manage now?
Tash LC, Ikonika, Sir Hiss + Holly Lester

Where did you find your first client and what inspired you to take them on?
Not my first client, but my longest currently is Tash LC. We met through a mutual friend, and immediately hit it off. Several calls and meetings later and we started to work together. What inspired me most about her was her knowledge; she has this unreal encyclopaedia of music in her head. And you can fully understand where her passion comes from, its her life not just her career. I really rate that.

What does a good/bad day at work look like for you?
A good day begins with a sunny stroll along the promenade to the office. Projects that you work on for months coming together exactly as planned, and a delicious lunch. My best days are the simplest.

What has been the highlight of your management career to date?
This is a hard one, I don’t think I can commit to just one.

The most recent highlights would be seeing Ikonika smash Dekmantel; Another was the weekend just past, seeing Tash LC play in Sputnik at Field Manuevers, surrounded by her mates, a packed out tent and sweat dripping from the ceiling. Pure joy.

I think for me the highlights are always the experiences i get to share with the artists.

What do you think are the big challenges for a manager in 2025?
The struggle between the independent artist manager and the big artist management company.

What music are you currently listening to?
Ikonika Clasico mix on Apple Music

Why would you recommend the MMF?
It’s helped me find a sense of belonging in an otherwise pretty lonely job. I have a WhatsApp group with other managers and we are always offering an ear for a moan or gassing each other up.
