The MMF partner with the Music Publishers Association to offer an intermediate (level 2) course in Music Publishing. The course will be run by Dennis Collopy (IP and Music Rights Researcher, Music Publisher, Artist Manager) and follows on from the MPA Induction Course, providing a more in-depth look at the music publishing business with interactive workshops, case studies and panels. The course is for people seeking to refine their existing knowledge and gain a more hands-on, practical understanding of the publishing business.
The course will be split into five sessions, across three months at the beginning of 2019 from 28th Jan to 25th March. You will be able to book onto all five sessions or individual sessions. How modern music publishing works across genres and different uses with different relationships from ‘full service’ publishers to ‘rights managers’. How publishers are changing to meet the demands of the modern industry.
