By becoming a member of the Music Managers Forum you agree to comply with the MMF’s Managers Code of Practice and the terms of purchase explained below.


1. Acceptance of Terms

1.1 Please read these Terms and Conditions of Purchase (“Terms”) carefully as use of this service on the website Music Managers Forum Ltd (“the Website”) constitutes your acceptance of these Terms.  Music Managers Forum Ltd reserves the right to update the Terms at any time by displaying amended Terms on the Website.  You will be deemed to have agreed to the amended Terms when you next use this Website following any amendment.

2. Your use of this Website

2.1 Music Managers Forum Ltd admits you to this Website in order to provide you the opportunity to buy  membership, tickets and merchandise offered on the Website (“the Merchandise”).  The Terms and Conditions of Use of the Website and Privacy Policy are part of these Terms.  Music Managers Forum Ltd at its sole discretion shall determine your compliance with these Terms and shall have the right to prevent you from using the Website.

3. Membership and Renewals

Memberships can only be processed via the automated system on this web site. Once payment has been made, your membership will commence and you will benefit from our services immediately. For this reason, under Regulation 13(a) of the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, the membership fee is non-refundable.

On expiry of your membership each year on the anniversary of your joining date, payment will be taken from your card. You will be notified 20 days and 4 days in advance of renewal and you are free to cancel your renewal at any time in advance of payment being taken by clicking the link in your original welcome pack email or the expiry reminder email. Once payment has been taken for renewals, this cannot be refunded.

4. Shopping Online

4.1 Music Managers Forum Ltd offers secure on-line transactions.  You can select Merchandise from the Website by choosing the appropriate items and subsequent options and adding them to your shopping basket. You can monitor your intended purchases in the shopping basket together with the total costs.

4.2 When you have finished putting items in your basket you should proceed to the order page where you are able to review your selection and delete items if desired.

4.3 You should then proceed to the checkout area where you will be asked for details such as your billing address and delivery address.

5. Price and Payment Methods

5.1 The prices payable for Merchandise that you order are as set out in our website.

5.2 All prices displayed are inclusive of VAT.

5.3 You will be requested to pay extra for delivery of any physical merchandise and it might not be possible for us to deliver to some locations.  Our delivery charges are displayed at point of purchase.

5.4 You can pay by credit or debit card.  The cards accepted for payment, together with details of other payment methods, are displayed at point of purchase.

6. Availability

6.1 All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the Merchandise you have ordered are not available.

7. Description of Merchandise

7.1 All descriptions of Merchandise are displayed and given in good faith by Music Managers Forum Ltd, however, the style, size and/or colour given are a guide only and may vary slightly. We make every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and description of the Merchandise that appear on the Website, however, as the actual colours you see will depend on your computer monitor, we cannot guarantee that your computer monitor’s colour display will accurately reflect the colour of the Merchandise on delivery.  Music Managers Forum Ltd does not in any circumstances accept responsibility for the accuracy or otherwise of the advertisement nor is any kind of warranty expressed or implied by such publication.

8. Buying Merchandise

8.1 By proceeding through the payment stages of the Website you are offering to purchase the Merchandise. The contract is not concluded between you and Music Managers Forum Ltd until Music Managers Forum Ltdconfirms to you that the Merchandise are available for sale.

9. Delivery and Postage of Physical Merchandise

9.1 You will receive an electronic receipt of your purchase (in the form of an email), with your reference number against each purchase. You should quote that reference number in case of queries. You will also receive a hard copy receipt of your purchase with your Merchandise.

9.2 We will use our best commercial endeavours to deliver within 10 working days, however, this may take longer so please bear with us.  Time shall not be of the essence.  Merchandise will be sent to the address given by you in your order and stated in the Order Confirmation. You should anticipate a longer delivery period where Merchandise are to be delivered to addresses outside the UK and where delivery periods incorporate public holidays.

10. Cancellation by Us

10.1 Music Managers Forum Ltd reserves the right to cancel the contract if:

  • there is insufficient stock to deliver the Merchandise you have ordered;
  • delivery is not made to your area; or
  • one or more of the Merchandise you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by Music Managers Forum Ltd’ suppliers.

10.2 If Music Managers Forum Ltd does cancel your contract we will notify you by e-mail and will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your payment card as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of your order.  We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.

11. Cancellation of your order by you

11.1 If your order is for physical merchandise, as distinct from downloads or subscriptions, then prior to receiving your Merchandise you may cancel your order at any time by e-mail to info@themmf.net Once you are in receipt of your order the Returns Policy will apply (please see below).

12. Returns Policy for Physical Merchandise

12.1 If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, Music Managers Forum Ltd will exchange or give you a full refund, provided that you return the items to us within the Return Period (see term 12 below), in their original condition and packaging with all labels intact. Simply indicate the reason for your return on the form provided, include the receipt with your return, and wrap the package securely.


12.3 Music Managers Forum Ltd reserves the right to refuse to accept returned items not in their original condition, at Music Managers Forum Ltd’ sole discretion. Music Managers Forum Ltd also reserves the right to make a charge for collecting goods from your premises in circumstances where they are not defective but you have cancelled your order. Your statutory rights are not affected.

13. Return Period

13.1 You have 7 days to return the Physical Merchandise to Music Managers Forum Ltd.  The 7 day return period begins the day after which you receive the Merchandise (the “Return Period”). Refunded payments will be credited to your original method of payment.

14. Returning faulty goods

14.1 If your Merchandise are faulty please contact Music Managers Forum Ltd within 5 days of receipt of the Merchandise (please read term 17.1) and we will issue you with a return label (which in the case of UK customers shall be freepost).  We will supply you with replacement Merchandise or a full refund of the purchase price and delivery costs where the Merchandise are faulty.  ‘Faulty’ means that the item has a manufacturing fault or hidden defect, which was present at the time of delivery. An item is not faulty if it has become damaged or faulty because of wear and tear, misuse, or accidental damage.  Please note that Music Managers Forum Ltd checks the quality and workmanship of all Merchandise very carefully prior to despatch.

14.2 Please note that you are responsible for the Merchandise until they are returned safely to Music Managers Forum Ltd, therefore, Music Managers Forum Ltd recommends that you send the Merchandise by Special Delivery or some other form of insured postage.

15. UK Customers

15.1 For UK customers, we are happy to pay for return postage of faulty Merchandise, and we shall provide a freepost label on request.  Send your return via the Royal Mail.  Please obtain a Certificate of Posting (available free from the Post Office) for all returns, so that we can complete your request in the event of items being lost in transit.  The Post Office will stamp this and supply a tracking reference number to prove the item(s) have been returned.  You should keep this Certificate until you have received your refund or replacement.

16. International Customers

16.1 Send your faulty Merchandise via a prepaid, insured, traceable method, marking your package clearly as Returned Merchandise to avoid delays at Customs. Please retain your shipping documentation, so that we can complete your request in the event of items being lost in transit.

16.2 We will let you know as soon as we receive the Merchandise, and will then endeavour to process your request for either a refund or replacement as quickly as possible. In some cases this may take several days, so we would be grateful if you could bear with us.

16.3 If you have requested a refund, or replacement of a lower value than the returned goods, a refund will be credited back to the payment card used to pay for the original order. We will let you know as soon as the refund has been processed.

16.4 If you have requested replacements of a higher value, any difference due to Music Managers Forum Ltd will be charged to the card used to pay for the original order.

17. Liability

17.1 If the Merchandise we deliver are not what you ordered or are damaged or faulty or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us in writing at our contact address of the problem within 5 working days of the delivery of the Merchandise in question.

17.2 If you do not receive Merchandise ordered by you within 30 days of the date on which you ordered them, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us in writing at our contact address of the problem within 40 days of the date on which you ordered the Merchandise.

17.3 If you notify a problem to us under this term, our only obligation will be, at your option:

  • to make good any shortage or non-delivery;
  • to replace or repair any goods that are damaged or faulty; or
  • to refund to you the amount paid by you for the Merchandise in question in whatever way we choose.

17.4 Save as precluded by law, we will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expenses (including loss of profits, business or goodwill) howsoever arising out of any problem you notify to us under this condition and we shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than to refund to you the amount paid by you for the Merchandise in question under clause 18.3(c) above.

17.5 You must observe and comply with all applicable regulations and legislation, including obtaining all necessary customs, import or other permits to purchase Merchandise from our site.  The importation or exportation of certain of our Merchandise to you may be prohibited by certain national laws.  We make no representation and accept no liability in respect of the export or import of the Merchandise you purchase.

17.6 Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing in these Terms:

17.7 is intended to limit any rights you might have as a consumer under applicable local law or other statutory rights that may not be excluded nor in any way to exclude or limit our liability to you for any death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.

18. Statutory Rights

18.1 Your statutory rights are not affected by our returns policy.

19. Title

19.1 Music Managers Forum Ltd shall retain title to and ownership of the Merchandise until Music Managers Forum Ltd has received payment in full of all sums due for the Merchandise.

20. Risk

20.1 The risk of loss or damage to the Merchandise shall pass to you upon delivery of the Merchandise.

22. Governing Law

22.1 These terms and conditions and your use of the Website will be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and you agree that any disputes arising in connection with the same will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
