February’s Monthly Manager Meetup topic is “Exploring alternative revenue streams”. We will be looking at interesting new ways to make money for artist businesses in 2019. The event will include speakers from mysnapp, manager James Plester, who will talk about the YouNow platform and Kickstarter campaigns plus music grant adviser Liza Buddy will discuss funding opportunities, crowdsourcing platforms and partnership investment loans.
mysnapp is where you cop and check all things pop culture. It’s where fans can watch online series of their favourite artists, shop the fashion from their favourite music videos and get their daily feed of pretty much all things trending.
Why mysnapp? Because they’re here to bring your artist(s) money, through sales from fashion. They do this by creating bespoke fashion lines for your artists, but also through sales from products by other brands, featured in the music videos.
In addition, mysnapp’s focus in 2019 will be creating content, which they want your talent to feature in. As a host or as a guest. Or maybe without you even knowing.. If you want to know more ahead of the event, feel free to reach out to Justin Dixon – firstname.lastname@example.org
We strongly encourage members to bring issues, queries and challenges to share with the MMF and its membership at our monthly meet-ups, so we are able to voice the concerns that matter the most to managers when speaking to the wider industry.
Event drinks sponsored by Smith & Williamson.
